Project Requirements – WordPress Expert Hi, I’m looking for a senior WordPress expert capable of delivering a polished, consistent and optimized platform. Here is the exact scope. 1. Full Dark-Theme Compatibility Across All Plugins Several plugins on our site (for example FluentSupport, BetterDocs, and potentially others) are not fully aligned with our global dark UI. You will need to: • Audit the entire frontend • Identify all components, pages and plugins that do not match our dark theme • Customize and inject CSS to ensure 100% visual consistency, including typography, buttons, backgrounds, forms, tables, tooltips, and system messages • Guarantee pixel-perfect alignment with the main site’s design system The goal is a fully unified dark-mode experience across all pages and all plugins. 2. Knowledge Base Setup (BetterDocs) + Migration • Configure BetterDocs properly on our site • Build the structure of the Knowledge Base (keep the same structure we have in Freshdesk OR propose a better one) • Migrate all existing KB articles from Freshdesk to BetterDocs • Ensure all articles display perfectly on the frontend, including search, categories, breadcrumbs, and CTA blocks Deliverable: a fully functional, beautiful and SEO-friendly documentation space. 3. SSO Redirections for Login / Register WordPress still shows native login/register forms in some cases (for example: visiting WooCommerce pages when logged out). We want: • No default WordPress login/registration pages • Any attempt to access /wp-login.php, WooCommerce login form, or any system login page must redirect the user to our custom SSO login page (we will provide the URL) • Check and fix all possible fallback routes Objective: zero exposure of WP native login forms. 4. Multilingual Setup Default language: English. We need multilingual support for: • French • Spanish • German • Portuguese We prefer using Linguise because: • automatic translation is required • we won’t translate anything manually • the site is community/social-network oriented, with dynamic content Your task: • Install and configure Linguise • Ensure translations work on all pages, including dynamic components, BuddyBoss, LMS, support portal, docs, etc. • Make sure SEO indexing works for each language 5. Performance Optimization We want a full site optimization, including: • Caching configuration • Database cleanup • CSS/JS minification • Image/WebP optimization • Performance audit + fixes • Core Web Vitals improvements • Security & speed best practices • Removal of render-blocking assets whenever possible Deliverable: a fast, stable, optimized WordPress environment. 6. Plugin Audit We want: • A complete list of unused, redundant, or low-quality plugins • Recommendations for replacements • Cleanup plan Goal: reduce bloat, improve speed, and ensure long-term maintainability.
