I am looking for an experienced web designer to refine and enhance my existing healthcare website. The goal is to improve readability, accessibility, design consistency, and SEO optimization while keeping all existing written content exactly as it is. The website should maintain its current structure and tone but have a more professional, user-friendly, and search-optimised presentation. Scope of Work: 1. Design & Accessibility Enhancements - Improve the header navigation so that all main pages are clearly visible without needing to click an icon (particularly in landscape view). - Ensure logos in the header and footer are clickable and link to the homepage. - Center and align headings (e.g., “Services”) for a clean, balanced appearance. - Display the address on the Contact page clearly above or next to the contact form. - Maintain consistent fonts and text styles across all pages and blog posts for better readability. - Add a copyright line to the footer. - Enhance the footer layout to include key navigation links, social media icons, and placeholders for legal pages (Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions). 2. SEO & Technical Optimisation - Optimize meta titles and descriptions for all pages using clear, keyword-rich phrasing. - Ensure each page has a single, SEO-friendly H1 tag and a logical header hierarchy (H2, H3, etc.). - Update the About page URL from “/about-4” to “/about-us” for clarity and SEO friendliness. - Set up a 301 redirect from “/home” to the main homepage to prevent duplicate content. - Create and properly structure an XML sitemap that includes all relevant pages and blog posts. - Implement schema markup (Organization, Local Business, Breadcrumb, and Service schemas) to enhance visibility in search results. - Ensure that all design and layout improvements adhere to SEO best practices (fast loading times, mobile responsiveness, accessible text). 3. Additional Website Features - Create a dedicated FAQ page shell with a visually appealing layout (I will later fill in the content). - Add social media icons and links to existing profiles in both the header and footer areas. - Create individual pages for each service, ensuring that each “Read More” button links to the relevant page (layout can mirror the existing design). - Include placeholders for Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages for future compliance updates. Deliverables: 1. Updated and optimized live website that reflects the above changes. 2. Fully functional and accessible FAQ page shell. 3. Clean, consistent, and mobile-friendly design. 4. SEO-optimized structure, metadata, and schema markup. 5. Website must remain fully editable within the Wix platform (no hardcoded or embedded elements that limit future content or layout editing).
