I’m building a new tabletop battlefield and need a skilled 3D artist to create Games-Workshop-inspired scenery at 28 – 32 mm scale. The focus is firmly on terrain—no characters or vehicles—so I can print and paint a cohesive set of immersive pieces. Scope The core of the job is twofold: dramatic buildings and structures (ruined cathedrals, fortified walls, gothic statues) and complementary natural features such as rocky outcrops or blasted trees. Every model must feel at home beside Warhammer kits while remaining unmistakably original. Workflow & Tools I’m comfortable receiving clean, watertight STL files ready for resin printing. Whether you prefer Blender, ZBrush, Fusion 360, or another package, the end result should import smoothly into Resin slicers or 3D printer slicers and slice without repair. Key Requirements • Modular parts where practical so I can rearrange sections for varied layouts • Print-friendly detailing: bold surface texture that survives down-scaling, no unsupported overhangs >45° where possible • Separate basing if the piece benefits from it (e.g., cliff face on its own base) • File naming that makes it easy to find components at a glance Deliverables 1. Concept sketch or greyboxed block-outs for sign-off 2. High-poly masters plus decimated, printable STLs 3. One test-print size piece to confirm tolerances 4. Final zipped asset pack, organised by structure and landscape parts I’ll provide reference photos and measurements on award and can give rapid feedback at each milestone. If you love Warhammer aesthetics and have a proven terrain portfolio, this should be a fun collaboration.
