VC Matchmaking Web Platform

I’m setting up a venture-capital website modeled after AngelList and LetsVenture with the clear objective of connecting investors and startups on one seamless hub. At its core the platform must let both sides find one another quickly, open a private conversation, and move from pitch to commitment without leaving the site. Key deliverables • User profiles – two distinct types (investor and startup) with dashboards, media uploads, and visibility controls. • Project listings – startups need a place to publish deals, traction metrics, and funding targets; investors should be able to follow, shortlist, and tag opportunities. • Messaging system – real-time or async chat threaded by deal so that conversations stay organized. • Investor portfolio – a section where investors track the companies they back and showcase their track record publicly or privately. I’ll provide the brand assets and copy; you’ll design the UX, build the responsive front-end, connect it to a scalable back-end, and set up an admin panel for moderation and analytics. Clean, well-commented code (React, Vue, or similar on the front; Node, Django, or another modern framework on the back) is essential, but I’m open to your preferred stack if it meets the requirements above. Acceptance criteria • All four features function smoothly on desktop and mobile. • Role-based access controls prevent data leakage between profile types. • Pages load in under 3 seconds on a standard 4G connection. • Code passes a hand-over review and runs in my cloud environment with one-click deployment instructions. If you have experience building two-sided marketplaces or investment platforms, let’s bring this vision to life.
