Project Description – qb³ Valve Controller Enclosure The qb³ Valve Controller Enclosure is a compact, weatherproof housing designed to protect and integrate the LoRa-enabled smart valve controller used across the outdoor platform. This enclosure will serve as the outdoor field unit responsible for hosting the controller electronics, power components, and antenna system that automate irrigation valves in farmland environments. The project’s goal is to develop an IP66–IP67 rated enclosure that is both functional and visually aligned with qb³’s modern, clean, and futuristic brand aesthetic. The design draws inspiration from sleek, rounded-edge industrial products—combining durability, serviceability, and style. The enclosure will house an ESP32-based control board, LoRa module, battery + charger system, and optional solar input. It must accommodate cable glands, antenna mounting, venting, and an optional manual override switch while maintaining tight environmental sealing. A key focus is ensuring ease of field assembly, efficient thermal performance, and RF transparency for LoRa communication. The end product should reflect qb³’s identity—precision engineering blended with nature-conscious design—forming the foundation of the brand’s next generation of smart agriculture devices.
