I’m building TicketLounge, a professional-grade ticketing marketplace in the spirit of Computicket or Webtickets. The site must let organisers list events on a self-service basis while giving fans a smooth path to purchase and receive their tickets instantly in PDF form by email. Public-facing experience • Modern, responsive pages styled in a clean, corporate look that matches a trustworthy brand. • Secure checkout supporting Credit/Debit Cards and PayPal from day one. • Auto-generated, uniquely bar-coded PDFs and confirmation emails delivered the moment payment clears. Organiser journey New organisers create an account and submit events for manual approval; once vetted they earn a blue-badge and can publish future events instantly. Each organiser needs a real-time dashboard that shows ticket counts, revenue, and demographic stats, with CSV download available for deeper analysis. Back-office control The admin panel must recognise three roles—Admin, Event Organiser, and Sub-admin—each with granular permissions. From here I want to: • Review and approve new organisers and events. • Trigger manual payouts when settlement is due. • Monitor live sales with charts and tables that refresh in real time. • Export any report to CSV for reconciliations or audits. Entry management A lightweight mobile web app—or native scanner if you prefer—should read the PDF barcodes/QRs and update the database instantly to prevent duplicate entries. Deliverables 1. Responsive website with ticket catalogue, checkout, and confirmation flow. 2. Self-service organiser portal tied to the role system and approval logic. 3. Full admin suite with analytics, CSV export, and manual payout tools. 4. Scanning solution for on-site validation (mobile-web or small native app). 5. Source code, deployment scripts, and brief hand-over documentation. Acceptance criteria: pages load smoothly on modern desktop and mobile browsers, payments process without error, PDFs scan correctly at the gate, and live dashboards reflect ticket scans within a few seconds. If you already work with frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Node.js, React, or similar—and have payment gateway experience—this build should feel familiar. I look forward to a robust, well-documented release that’s ready for real events.
