I’ve licensed a Laravel-based script that already handles the core UI, backend and MySQL database for a general residential/commercial, sale/rental listing site, and now I need it reshaped to fit my niche marketplace- lease listings for commercial space. What I want added • Advanced search filters that let visitors narrow results by square footage, lease rate, space features, etc. • A “Save Search” workflow so registered users can store criteria and get automatic email alerts when matching properties are published. What I want removed • The script currently shows a “Projects” section meant for new-construction listings; that entire module, its routes, views and tables need to disappear cleanly without breaking anything else. • Removal of any residential criteria, or any sale listing criteria from the search/results functions. Database updates Some new tables are required for saved searches and notification logs, several existing ones will need extra columns for the advanced filters, and obsolete tables tied to the discarded Projects feature should be dropped. Other key tasks • Rework the search controller and related queries so the new filters run quickly on large datasets. • Enhance the Leaflet map by integrating Mapbox satellite imagery and a toggle that switches between aerial and street views. • Tweak CSS styles in a few components (property cards, filter sidebar, nav bar) to match our branding while keeping the codebase maintainable. Deliverables – Updated Laravel project with all new and revised controllers, models, migrations and Blade templates – Optimised MySQL schema with migration scripts – Modified Leaflet/Mapbox map component with view toggle – Cleaned-up front-end stylesheets – Brief deployment notes so I can replicate the setup on staging If you have solid experience with PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Leaflet and Mapbox, I’d love to see how you can make these changes smoothly while keeping the existing code tidy and well documented.
