Job Title: Support & Maintenance Expert for PHP Laravel Application (Long-Term Contract) About the Company: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual freelancer to provide Support and Maintenance Services for our existing PHP Laravel-based application. The application is a core part of our business operations, and we require a professional who can ensure its stability, security, and optimal performance through proactive maintenance and technical support. Scope of Work: The selected freelancer will be responsible for: Performing regular maintenance and optimization of the existing Laravel application. Monitoring application performance and resolving issues proactively. Fixing bugs, errors, and minor functionality issues as reported by our internal team. Ensuring data security, regular backup verification, and uptime monitoring. Updating dependencies, libraries, and Laravel versions when required. Coordinating with our internal technical and non-technical teams for smooth workflow. Providing monthly progress and maintenance reports. Delivering IT consultancy and support related to our existing systems and infrastructure. Performing proactive monitoring and maintaining disaster recovery mechanisms as per company-approved standards. Conducting weekly knowledge transfer sessions and maintaining documentation of system configurations, code, and protocols in a centralized repository (e.g., GitHub Enterprise). Technical Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with PHP Laravel Framework (v8 or higher). Strong understanding of MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies. Experience with server management (cPanel / AWS / VPS / shared hosting environments). Knowledge of API integrations, security best practices, and data backup processes. Proficiency with Git / Bitbucket for version control. Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools and bug tracking systems. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in long-term Laravel application support and maintenance. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
