I’m developing a new product and need an experienced SolidWorks specialist who can take the idea from concept through to a workable 3D model. The project sits squarely in product design, so I’m looking for someone comfortable turning rough dimensions, reference photos or even simple verbal notes into a clean, fully-parametric SolidWorks part—or a small assembly if we discover that’s the smartest route. You’ll help me shape the form, work out basic fit and function and prepare files I can share with suppliers for quoting. Good communication is essential; I’ll be available for quick sketches, video calls and iterative feedback so we can keep the design streamlined and manufacturable. Deliverables I expect: • Native SolidWorks file (.SLDPRT or .SLDASM) • Exported STEP/IGES for vendor hand-off • Simple drawing views with critical dimensions noted (nothing too formal unless you advise otherwise) If you’ve taken products from blank screen to prototype before—especially consumer-facing items—let me know.
