I have a set of 2D CAD drawings for several mechanical parts that now need to be turned into fully-featured, parametric 3D models in SolidWorks. Every fillet, draft angle, thread and tolerance called out on the drawings must be reproduced exactly, as these files will go straight to manufacturing once approved. The focus is accuracy and feature completeness rather than advanced material simulation, so standard SolidWorks material assignments are fine. What matters is that dimensions, hole callouts, patterns and complex geometries match the prints down to the last micron. I will supply the 2D files (DWG/DXF) and any supporting notes as soon as we start; you return native SolidWorks parts or assemblies along with neutral STEP files for cross-checking. Deliverables • Native SolidWorks *.sldprt / *.sldasm models with all features fully defined • Corresponding STEP files for each part or assembly • A brief model tree or design table explanation when configurations are used Acceptance will be based on a quick overlay check against the original CAD, proper feature organization, and trouble-free opening in SolidWorks 2020 or newer.
