Simple Android Food Donation App

I need a lean MVP Android application that lets people share surplus food quickly and keeps everyone in the loop through timely notifications. The core flow is straightforward: a donor posts available food, nearby users receive an alert, and both sides get status updates once the offer is accepted or the item is collected. Scope for this first build stays intentionally light: • Basic email-and-password sign-up / sign-in • Screens to create, browse, and accept food listings (no advanced styling required) • Push notifications—Firebase Cloud Messaging or a similar service is fine • Simple status flags (available, reserved, collected) so users know what’s happening Please develop in Android Studio using Kotlin or Java, whichever you prefer. I’ll need: • Compiled APK ready to install • Full, well-commented source code • A concise read-me explaining build steps and how to swap in my own Firebase keys I’m aiming for a first working build within two weeks and the polished hand-off before the month is out. Keep the code clean and modular so I can add features later.
