Remove Google Deceptive Site Warning

Customer: AI | Published: 01.10.2025

My corporate website was recently hacked and Google has placed the red “Deceptive site ahead” interstitial on every page. I have regained access to the hosting control panel, but I’m not sure whether a clean pre-hack backup exists, so I need an experienced security-minded developer to handle the entire cleanup and re-validation process. Scope of work • Find and eradicate every malicious file, injected script, and rogue database entry. • Patch whatever vulnerability allowed the breach and harden the server (CMS updates, plugin checks, permissions, .htaccess rules, etc.). • Generate a concise post-cleanup report so I can see exactly what was removed or changed. • Guide the site through Google Search Console’s “Security Issues” review until the deceptive-site warning disappears for all users worldwide. Acceptance criteria 1. Google Search Console shows zero security issues. 2. Visiting the site in any major browser no longer triggers a warning banner. 3. All legitimate pages load correctly and pass a fresh malware scan. Please let me know your approach, estimated timeline, and any additional information you’ll need from my hosting panel to get started.
