I’m building ReinSim, a culturally rooted reindeer-transport experience set across the snowy plateaus of Finnmark. For this first milestone I need a small, self-contained mobile prototype that proves two things: the truck feels authentic to drive and the landscape immediately evokes Northern Norway, even in a stylised 3D art direction. What matters most at this stage is the driving. The truck should respond believably to icy roads, shifting weight and occasional white-out conditions. While the player’s ultimate task is to ferry a load of reindeer safely to the slaughterhouse, the prototype only has to cover one short route—think a stretch of tundra, a mountain pass and the abattoir yard—so we can focus on physics, handling and cockpit feedback without getting lost in massive world-building. I’ve chosen a stylised 3D look inspired by real Finnmark landmarks; no photogrammetry here, but the colours, lighting and silhouette of the terrain should feel unmistakably Arctic. If you already have a terrain workflow that blends hand-painted assets with satellite-based masks or heightmaps, all the better, yet keep the visuals performant on modern mobile devices. The goal is to build a simple 3D prototype where the player: - Drives a vehicle through snowy terrain - Loads reindeer into the transport - Delivers them safely to a slaughterhouse - Earns points for safe driving and timely delivery I want the game to reflect the beauty of Arctic nature and the logistics challenges in reindeer herding, but the focus is on gameplay and atmosphere — not full realism yet. Deliverables I need from you: • A playable Android or iOS build (plus project files) showcasing one drivable reindeer transport truck and a short, contiguous route. • Core driving mechanics tuned for ice and packed snow: traction control, braking distance, steering weight and basic damage or stall states. • Stylised 3D environment featuring tundra, sparse vegetation, wind-blown snow and distant mountains, all lit for a cold winter sun. • Simple UI with start, restart and basic telemetry (speed, load integrity). • Clear setup notes so I can iterate on physics values or swap art assets after delivery. Feel free to work in Unity, Unreal or any engine you’re fastest with, as long as the final APK/IPA meets normal store-level performance. If this slice delivers the convincing feel I’m after, we can extend the scope to full routes, herd management and deeper logistics in later phases.
