I have a new product concept that now needs a precise 3D model so I can move on to prototype development. The goal is a dimensionally accurate file that I can send straight to a 3D printer or CNC shop. Scope • Model a single product—no assembly exploded views or animation required. • Deliver print-ready geometry in STL and STEP (or OBJ) formats. • Keep wall thicknesses, tolerances, and any snap-fit features true to the measurements I supply. • A basic render for visual checking is helpful but not mandatory. I’m looking for someone who already knows the ins-and-outs of preparing models for physical prototyping, including common manufacturing constraints. When you apply, focus on your experience with similar product models—tools used, materials you’ve accounted for, and any notable prototypes that successfully moved to production. No need for lengthy proposals; a brief rundown of relevant projects and software proficiency is enough.
