Pasta Making Table

Looking for a designer to develop a special **PASTA TABLE**. My company focuses on teaching **traditional Italian pasta making** in Milan ([www.pastapietro.com](http://www.pastapietro.com)). We would like to renovate our main working table — this is where the magic happens, where our guests knead and craft fresh pasta together. **Specifics** **Surface:** Ideally the table surface should be wood, but we are open to considering other materials. **Dimensions:** 6m x 1m. I need to be able to change the length of the table depending on the number of guests and the type of event we are planning — from a minimum of 4m up to 6m. If the table is made in modular blocks (as it is now), we want to avoid guests working directly over joints, otherwise flour could pass through or get stuck. For this reason, please consider that every guest should have a **minimum working space of 60cm**. For example, the table could be made of **5 blocks of 120cm** to reach the total length of 6m. With these measurements it would be possible to host **22 people** (10 on each side and 1 at each head of the table). However, **65–70cm per guest** would be much more comfortable. **Height:** The table height should be somewhere between a dining table and a kitchen worktable — around **80cm**. This is because we use it both for working and eating, and we store all the chairs underneath the table. Thank you for your help.
