The core trading layer needs to support spot trading, margin trading, and staking from day one, all tied to a robust order-matching engine that scales smoothly under load. On the wallet side, users must be able to hold multiple currencies, toggle cold-storage addresses for long-term safety, and restore access through a secure backup and recovery flow. Security is non-negotiable—please architect two-factor authentication into every sensitive action, encrypt user and ledger data at rest and in transit, and wire in automated anti-fraud detection rules to flag suspicious behaviour in real time. Because adoption hinges on user trust and speed, I expect clean, well-documented code, a responsive interface (mobile-first is ideal), and an admin console where I can manage listings, view analytics, and act on flagged transactions without touching production databases.
