I need a straightforward Live TV streaming solution built around an Nginx media server and two native clients—one for iOS and one for Android. The heart of the job is getting a rock-solid stream from my existing sources, pushing it through Nginx (with the RTMP or similar module you prefer), and playing it back smoothly on both mobile platforms with minimal latency. Here’s what I’m picturing: • Server side – Tweak or rebuild the current Nginx setup so it can ingest my Live TV feed, handle adaptive bit-rate encoding, and expose HLS/DASH endpoints. – Secure the streams (token or key-based is fine) so that only the apps can view them. – Provide clear documentation so I can add or remove channels later without touching the code. • Mobile side – Clean, branded apps for iOS and Android that start fast, list available channels, and open the stream in a full-screen player. – The player should automatically switch quality based on bandwidth and remember the last channel watched. – Basic crash-free analytics and an update path via TestFlight / internal track. If you already have reusable modules for user authentication or live chat, mention it; I may add them after the core Live TV flow is stable. Acceptance criteria 1. A test broadcast from my studio plays on both platforms for two hours without buffering or desync. 2. Source code (Xcode + Android Studio) builds cleanly from scratch on my machines. 3. Step-by-step server deployment guide works on a fresh Ubuntu box. I’m ready to start as soon as you can outline a timeline and the main milestones.
