Summary We're an Israeli AI automation consultancy seeking an experienced N8N developer. You will be building production-ready AI agents and business automations from scratch for our clients in e-commerce, real estate, consulting, and more. This is a hands-on-keyboard role focused purely on development. CRITICAL: We expect AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude) to be a core part of your daily workflow. This isn't optional—it's how we work. If you're still building workflows purely manually without leveraging AI for planning, problem-solving, and optimization, you won't succeed in this role. What You'll Build Complex N8N Workflows: Design and build robust, multi-step automations with conditional logic and error handling. You'll architect workflows that connect multiple systems, handle bi-directional data sync, and manage complex business logic. AI-Powered Agents: Build sophisticated AI agents that handle real customer conversations—for lead qualification, customer support, and business operations. These agents remember context across interactions, pull information from knowledge bases, work together as multi-agent systems, and can handle voice calls and process documents and images. You'll integrate with OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini APIs. System Integrations: Connect CRMs (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, Freshworks), databases (Supabase, PostgreSQL), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce), and communication channels. You'll set up WhatsApp Business API with templates, integrate calendars, marketing tools, accounting systems, and legacy platforms. Business Features: Implement lead qualification logic, appointment scheduling, document generation (contracts, invoices, quotes), payment processing, analytics dashboards, automated follow-up sequences, and team notification systems. You'll also handle data migration and cleanup between systems. Core Requirements (Must-Haves) 1+ year of production N8N experience - This is non-negotiable. You must have built real, complex workflows that are running in production. AI & LLM Integration - Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI agents within N8N. Strong Dev Skills - Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript for N8N custom code expressions and functions. API Mastery - Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication flows. AI Assistant Proficiency (NON-NEGOTIABLE) - You must actively use AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as integral tools in your workflow. We expect you to leverage AI for: Planning and architecting complex workflows before building them Troubleshooting errors and debugging logic issues faster Researching unfamiliar APIs and integration methods Solving complex automation challenges Optimizing workflow performance and structure If you're building everything from scratch without AI assistance, this role isn't for you.
