I want to build a fully-playable survival simulation in Roblox that feels engaging whether one person or twenty are online. The core loop is classic survival—gather, craft, and outlast environmental threats—yet everything has to be network-ready so friends can jump in and cooperate (or compete) within the same server without lag or data loss. Your job starts at the ground floor: scripting game logic in Lua, structuring the place in Roblox Studio, then wiring it to DataStores so player progress persists. I’m aiming for polished moment-to-moment play: a streamlined lobby, automatic matchmaking, reliable replication of world events, and intuitive UI that looks native to Roblox. Resource management and deeper character customisation are ideas for later phases, so please architect the code cleanly enough to expand when we reach that point. Acceptance will be based on: • A publish-ready Roblox place containing the survival mechanics and stable multiplayer sessions. • Source files and scripts clearly commented. • A brief text walkthrough explaining how to add new items, maps, or game passes. If you enjoy squeezing maximum performance out of Roblox servers and have shipped multiplayer experiences before, let’s create the next go-to survival sim together.
