The core objective is to plug more than one gateway into our existing platform so customers can choose what works best for them—Stripe, PayPal, Checkout.com, or any other regional provider we may add later. What I expect you to handle: • Map the integration architecture, highlighting how each gateway will coexist without disrupting our current checkout flow. • Build and document the secure REST / webhook endpoints, tokenization logic, and refund/chargeback processes. • Implement PCI DSS–compliant handling of card data, following best practices for encryption, key rotation, and secure storage (or token vaults). • Configure sandbox and live environments, then guide me through end-to-end testing so every scenario—one-time payments, recurring, partial refunds—runs smoothly. • Package clear deployment notes so our dev-ops team can roll updates confidently. Tech stack is flexible; if you’re equally comfortable working server-side in a modern framework (Node, Laravel, Django, etc.) and front-end JavaScript for the client-side token flow, that’s a plus. Show me previous multi-gateway projects or code samples that demonstrate clean, well-documented integration.
