The core of this assignment is to connect our existing Moodle instance with one or more external educational platforms so data, user activity, and course materials can pass smoothly between systems. The Moodle site is already live; what it lacks is the seamless, behind-the-scenes linkage that lets learners move from one environment to the next without extra log-ins or manual data transfers. Key objectives • Analyse the current Moodle setup and identify the cleanest technical path for integrating with the chosen third-party platform(s). • Build and configure the integration (web services, LTI, API, or another method you recommend) so courses, enrolments, grades, and user profiles stay synchronised. • Document every step clearly: configuration settings, custom code snippets, and a rollback plan. • Provide a short hand-over session demonstrating that the integration works as intended with a test course and sample users. Acceptance criteria 1. Single-sign-on or LTI launch flows operate without errors. 2. Data exchanged between Moodle and the external platform appears instantly for instructors and learners. 3. No core Moodle files are overwritten; upgrades remain trouble-free. 4. Clear, reproducible documentation is supplied. The stack currently runs on standard PHP/MySQL hosting. SSH and full admin access will be granted after NDA acceptance. Preference is given to solutions that respect Moodle’s plugin architecture and minimise maintenance overhead.
