I’m building a modern, sleek platform where people can auction their second-hand goods, and I need the full site produced from the ground up. The main objective is to keep bidders serious, so the login and registration flow must capture complete profile information and include identity verification or at least strong e-mail/SMS confirmation. Core marketplace flow Once inside, users should be able to list or bid on electronics, furniture, collectibles, mobiles, PCs, jewelry, and even cars. I’ll start with clearly branded sections for Electronics, Furniture, and Jewelry, with the ability to expand categories later. Each product page needs a real-time countdown timer, automatic bid increments, a watch-list, and bid history visible to all logged-in users. Design & user experience The look and feel should be unapologetically modern and sleek—think clean typography, generous white space, subtle motion where it adds clarity, and a fully responsive layout that feels native on phones, tablets, and desktops. Back-end essentials A straightforward seller dashboard lets listers upload photos, set reserve prices, and track bids. An admin panel must allow me to moderate listings, manage user accounts, and view site metrics. Security is non-negotiable: hashed passwords, HTTPS everywhere, and protection against common injection attacks. Deliverables • Wireframes and high-fidelity UI mock-ups reflecting the agreed modern style • Fully functional front-end and back-end, including user registration, login, product catalog, and live auction engine • Admin dashboard with role-based access • Deployment on my hosting environment plus concise setup & maintenance documentation Acceptance criteria – Cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) – Mobile score above 90 on Google Lighthouse – Verified users can bid; unverified users cannot – Auctions close accurately at end-time and highest bidder is logged If this scope is clear, let’s proceed so I can launch a distinctive, trustworthy auction site for used items.
