I need a relational database that catalogs every emergency-service asset in the State of Missouri. The final product should let a user quickly cross-reference police departments, fire services, medical services, 911/PSAP centers, and hospitals by county, city, ZIP code, and agency type. Scope • Design a clean, well-normalized schema (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred) that links agencies, locations, contact details, service areas, and any applicable certification or dispatch information. • Populate the tables with the most current publicly available data for the entire state, checking state directories, county records, and individual agency websites so the information is as complete and accurate as possible. • Provide importable .sql files plus a short read-me explaining table relations, data sources, and any assumptions. Acceptance The schema must avoid duplicate agencies, pass basic foreign-key checks, and allow me to run queries such as “all hospitals within the service area of a given 911 center” in a single JOIN. Sample queries with expected outputs will be part of the hand-off. If you already maintain Missouri datasets or have proven experience assembling similar public-safety databases, let me know in your bid; it will speed up selection.
