I'm looking for an experienced developer to help migrate my web application's code repository and database my existing app Backend node js/React + MySQL + Firebase, Self-Host Supabase on a Private VPS i want to migrate to Supabase with Docker + Migrate MySQL Data to PostgreSQL + Migrate Firebase Auth and Data Migrate Notification Logic to Edge Functions Update Application Code and Implement RLS Implement Row Level Security (RLS) Full CLI Setup Real-Time Push Notifications with Supabase Edge Functions and Firebase I’m moving an existing production web app onto Supabase and need a developer who has done end-to-end migrations before. The current stack is stable, but I want the flexibility, built-in Postgres, and real-time features that Supabase offers. At this stage I haven’t locked down whether any transformations will be required, so I’m looking for guidance on that during the engagement. If the schema or data types need tweaking to fit Postgres best practices, we can outline those changes together before you run the migration scripts. What I expect from you: • A quick review of my existing MySQL schema and sample data. • A clear migration plan, including any recommended transformations or optimisations. • Execution of the migration using tools such as Supabase CLI, pgloader or a comparable pipeline you prefer. • Validation that row counts, relationships, and indexes match after the move. • A concise hand-off document summarising the steps taken so I can reproduce or audit the process later. Everything will take place in a fresh Supabase project I’ll provide. Once the data is live and tested, the job is done. If you have proven experience with both MySQL and Supabase/PostgreSQL migrations, I’d love to get this started right away.
