Freelance Web-Based SQL Reporting Developer Needed We are looking for a freelancer with strong SQL and business logic skills to develop web-based reporting dashboards using an existing database. Scope of Work Fetching data from an SQL database using optimized and efficient queries Developing web-based reporting screens with: Filterable reports Date-based analysis Summary and detailed tables Exporting reports to Excel / PDF Providing data via API when required Required Technical Skills Advanced SQL JOINs, GROUP BY, HAVING Working with large datasets Query performance optimization At least one backend technology: PHP (preferably Laravel), Python, Node.js, or .NET Basic frontend knowledge: HTML / CSS / JavaScript Table & chart libraries (DataTables, Chart.js, etc.) Security awareness: SQL Injection prevention Role-based access control / authorization Nice to Have Previous experience with ERP / accounting / inventory / sales data Strong understanding of reporting and analytical logic Ability to clearly explain what the data represents, not just write queries Not a Good Fit If You: Claim to “do everything” but avoid details Only write SQL without understanding business logic Ignore performance and security considerations What to Include in Your Application Please share: A similar reporting project you have worked on The technology stack you recommend for this task Your estimated timeline and working approach This is a remote freelance project.
