I’m ready to move our current Magento 1.9 store over to Magento 2 while preserving every product, category, URL, and pixel of the existing design. Beyond a straight migration, I also want the new site to benefit from stronger security. Scope of work • Migrate the full catalogue, customer records, order history, theme layout, and CMS pages so the look-and-feel and shopping flow remain unchanged. • Rebuild or refactor the theme for Magento 2, keeping visual parity with the current storefront on desktop and mobile. • Implement meaningful security improvements—at minimum hardening the codebase, auditing extensions, and configuring Magento 2’s built-in protections. I’m open to your recommendations on measures such as two-factor authentication, scheduled security patching, and data-at-rest encryption. • Validate that payment, shipping, and third-party modules function correctly after the upgrade. • Provide a short hand-off document outlining what was done and how to keep the store secure going forward. Acceptance criteria 1. New Magento 2 site replicates the existing design and catalogue without broken links or missing assets. 2. PCI-compliant security settings enabled and verified. 3. Store passes basic performance benchmarks (page loads similar to or better than current site). 4. Migration, theme, and security notes delivered.
