Local Sathi App

I’m ready to turn my “Local Sathi” idea into a working product that runs on both iOS and Android. The goal is simple: help people discover verified electricians, plumbers, tutors and other neighbourhood experts while giving every user a unique in-app ID tied to a government-ID check. The app also needs a public “live post” wall where anyone can share quick updates or opinions, a bit like Twitter, and a basic profile page (photo, name, ID badge – nothing more social than that). Core build • Secure onboarding: users upload a government ID, the system verifies it and assigns an auto-generated unique ID. • Powerful search: category and location filters so customers can instantly find service providers. • Live post feed: text-only stream that users can post to in real time. • Basic profiles: picture, name and verified badge displayed when someone’s services or posts are viewed. • Admin console: approve or reject IDs, create/delete service categories, and moderate the live feed. Monetisation I’d like you to wire in at least one revenue channel from launch—banner ads, paid “top spot” listings for providers, or a small service-booking fee. I’m open to your strategic advice on what fits best technically and commercially. Tech & delivery expectations A cross-platform stack such as Flutter or React Native for the apps and a lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or Node + MongoDB) should keep timelines tight, but the exact toolkit is up to you as long as it’s well documented and easy for me to maintain. Deliverables – Complete source code for both mobile apps and backend – Step-by-step documentation: local setup, cloud deployment, and publishing to App Store & Play Store – Admin panel (web or in-app) with full moderation controls – Monetisation module fully functional in sandbox mode – One hand-off session walking me through going live and routine maintenance Acceptance criteria The build is finished when a test install on both stores lets me: 1. Create an account with ID verification and receive a unique ID. 2. Search and filter providers correctly. 3. Post and read updates on the live feed. 4. See ads or premium-listing placeholders active. 5. Manage users, posts and categories from the admin console without errors. If you have the experience to craft a clean, secure codebase and guide a first-time founder through launch, I’d love to see how you’d tackle Local Sathi.
