Our corporate site is already live on PHP Laravel, but it needs a refresh and a few feature upgrades to keep pace with our growth. Design & UI • Re-work the page layouts so key information is easier to find and the visual hierarchy feels modern. • Make every screen fully responsive—phone, tablet, and desktop—so the experience is consistent no matter the device. • If a subtle color-scheme tweak will unify the new layouts, I’m open to your suggestions. Functionality • Extend the current e-commerce module: refine the product pages, streamline cart/checkout, and connect to our preferred payment gateway (Stripe is in place, though alternatives are fine). • Rebuild our form workflows—contact, quote requests, newsletter sign-up—to validate on both client and server sides, store submissions cleanly in the database, and trigger notification emails. Content Updates While adjusting templates, please make it easy for our team to swap copy and images in Blade without touching the codebase each time. Clear partials and well-named sections are a must. Tech stack expectations Laravel 10 (project currently on 9—migrate if benefits outweigh effort), PHP 8, Blade, Bootstrap or Tailwind for styling, Git for version control. Please keep your changes modular and documented so future updates are straightforward. Deliverables 1. Updated Laravel project files committed to a feature branch. 2. SQL migration or seeders for any new tables/columns. 3. Brief README outlining setup steps and key changes. 4. One round of post-deployment fixes based on our internal review. Timeline is flexible within reason, but I’d like an initial demo environment ready for feedback in about two weeks.
