I’m looking for a skilled 3D artist with experience in creating voxel environments and animations to create a short animated scene featuring Bayle the Dread in his boss arena in a voxel art style. Bayle is a legendary black dragon from the Elden Ring universe. Scene Requirements: Bayle's Boss Arena: - Circular boss arena - Viewed from an isometric-like angle - Boundaries of the arena should be modeled accurately (e.g the two mountainous pillars visible when entering the arena, the arch entrance, mountainous terrain surrounding the arena and the rectangular niches in the mountain terrain) - The boundaries of the arena should not be so tall such that Bayle himself cannot be seen and/or diminishes his presence. He should own the arena not the other way around. - Ground covered in red flowers - Few human skeletal parts (skulls, rib cage, arms, legs) scattered around the arena - Subtle animations - Fiery embers, ash and dust flying in the wind - Flowers subtly swaying in the wind - Stormy background weather with red-tinted lighting - Overall layout should feel like a dramatic, dark, ominous and volcanic Bayle the Dread: - Positioned at the center of the arena - Viewed from an isometric-like angle - Modeled in the same 3D voxel art style akin to this reference (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/dragonlord-placidusax-3d41e1e4efb248ffa499ed74ea7ab7be) yet remaining recognisable (how recognisable is up to my approval) - Should feel alive and imposing - Subtle animations such as: - Breathing / chest movement - Minor idle motion (head, wings, tail, etc) The below resources should help contextualize the scale and atmosphere of the arena and bayle: - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLetVZ4eDWw - https://open3dlab.com/project/3ad66723-c399-4b29-8019-1c1fa6f2c609/ Deliverables - Animated 3D voxel scene (~5 seconds) - Final output as: - Video (MP4 or similar), and/or - Source files (Blender preferred, but open to alternatives) Ideal Freelancer - Experience with voxel art - Comfortable with environment + character animation - Strong sense of atmosphere, lighting, and composition - Bonus if you’ve worked on game assets or isometric scenes
