Industrial Bar Wall Construction

There is an existing partition wall that must be safely demolished, cleared out, and its footprint prepped for a brand-new, industrial-style bar feature. Once the space is open, I want a striking focal point that feels like a downtown loft: visible structural elements, honest textures, and a rugged, polished finish. Key requirements • Shelving: sturdy display alcoves for bottles and glassware, integrated cleanly into the wall framing. • Built-in lighting: low-profile LEDs or similar, wired to code, that highlight the shelves and cast a warm ambience across the counter. • Countertop space: a durable surface deep enough for service, seamlessly tied into the wall structure. Steel, reclaimed timber, exposed brick, or concrete are all potential directions—I’m open to material suggestions as long as they reinforce the industrial aesthetic and meet local building standards. All electrical work needs to pass inspection, and the finished wall should be solid enough to support the shelving loads without visible sag or sway. Deliverables 1. Safe demolition and disposal of the existing wall. 2. Framing, material sourcing, and construction of the new bar wall. 3. Installation and alignment of custom shelving. 4. Wiring, fitting, and testing of built-in lighting. 5. Fabrication and fitting of the countertop. 6. Final touch-ups and site clean-up. On-site measurements come first, followed by a quick concept sketch or 3-D mock-up so we can lock in dimensions, power points, and finish choices before construction starts. I’ll handle any required permits; you supply the craftsmanship, tools, and an eye for that unmistakable industrial character.
