I need my existing WordPress site—complete with its custom theme and several bespoke plugins—moved from one GoDaddy hosting plan to another within the same account. I already tried GoDaddy’s automatic migration tool, but it failed mid-process, so I want a clean manual transfer that brings everything across intact. Scope • Copy all site files and the database from the current plan. • Restore them on the new plan so the site loads exactly as before. • Update wp-config.php, permalinks, and any hard-coded paths or serialized data if necessary. • Verify that the custom theme, all custom plugins, and media assets function correctly. • Keep downtime to an absolute minimum; a short maintenance page is fine. You may prefer cPanel, phpMyAdmin, or SSH—whatever gets the job done safely. Once the DNS or internal routing is switched, I’ll consider the project complete when I can browse every page without errors and log in to the WordPress admin. Looking forward to working with someone who has handled GoDaddy-to-GoDaddy moves before and can wrap this up quickly.
