We have an existing mobile application for ambulance booking (road, train, air ambulance). Currently, it is a simple form-based system, and we want to upgrade it to a more interactive, real-time booking experience similar to ride-hailing apps. We are looking for an experienced developer to implement Phase 1 (MVP upgrade). Scope of Work: 1. Booking Flow Upgrade: * Replace current form with a step-by-step booking process * Fields: ambulance type, pickup location, drop location, patient details * Clean and modern UI/UX (minimal changes as functionality is the priority) 2. Location Integration: * Auto-detect user location on app open * Pickup & drop location with autocomplete dropdown (Google Places API) * Show distance between locations in real-time 3. Real-Time Status Updates: * Booking status flow: Requested → Assigned → On the Way → Reached → Completed * Status changes from admin or employee login should reflect instantly in the user app * Live tracking of ambulance/service using Google Maps API integration 4. Push Notifications: * Notify users when booking status changes * Notifications for booking confirmation and updates 5. Admin and Employee Login Integration: * Single app with separate login screens for End-Users and Employees/Admins. * Admin/Employee logins will manage and update bookings directly within the app. 6. Backend Integration: * We are using AWS as backend * Implement real-time updates using WebSockets or Firebase Realtime Database. 7. Scalability (for future scope): The system should be scalable to include future enhancements like online payments, user accounts/login features, booking history, and feedback/rating systems. Deliverables: - Working booking flow with live tracking functionality and real-time updates. - Integrated push notifications. - Separate admin login feature fully functional within the app. - Clean production-ready code ensuring scalability. Timeline: 7–10 days.
