Fix WooCommerce Conversion Tracking

My WooCommerce store is connected to Google Ads through Google Tag Manager and I’m exclusively tracking product purchases. The tag fires, but Google Ads keeps showing identical numbers in both the “Conversions” and “Conversion value” columns—so every sale is coming through with a value of 1 instead of the real order total. I need someone to jump in, identify why the revenue isn’t being passed, and get the correct values flowing ASAP. The job involves auditing my GTM container, checking the purchase data layer variables WooCommerce outputs, removing or updating any duplicate or outdated tags, and testing until Google Ads receives the actual order amounts in the Conversion Value field. If there’s any custom code conflicting with GTM (I’m not sure whether something was added in the theme or a plugin), that needs to be spotted and fixed too. Deliverables: • Working purchase conversion tag that transmits real order totals to Google Ads • Confirmation via a live or recorded test order showing correct figures in Google Ads diagnostics • A brief note on what was changed so I can maintain it going forward Speed is important—please be comfortable troubleshooting WooCommerce, GTM, and Google Ads in one session.
