I recently upgraded my station from LibreTime 4.4.4 to 4.5.0 and ever since the change the live input only plays for a second or two before dropping. The Live Master toggle lights up, my encoding software connects, yet nothing is delivered through the public stream URL. Most of my streams run through Icecast, although I occasionally keep a secondary mount active, so any solution has to work cleanly with Icecast at minimum and not break compatibility with other mounts. I’m unsure whether the fault sits with DNS, port forwarding, or LibreTime’s internal live-routing, so I need a full check of: • Input path from encoder to LibreTime • Internal routing within LibreTime (liquidsoap, live priority, etc.) • Output chain from LibreTime to Icecast, including mount-point mapping and authentication • Any DNS or firewall rules that might be interrupting the flow Success means a presenter can connect at any hour of the day, flip Live Master on, and the stream stays solid with no manual intervention. As soon as the fix is in place I’ll test a continuous live feed for at least 30 minutes and in 2-3 days; once that passes without audio drop or disconnect, the job is done. Timing is critical—I need this working ASAP so the station’s schedule isn’t disrupted. Remote access to the server can be arranged immediately after we agree on the plan.
