Project Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Excel developer with strong construction scheduling and data-visualization skills to build a live manpower forecast dashboard for our company. This tool will track manpower across multiple projects, visualize labor loading week-by-week, and generate an S-curve to forecast manpower peaks and project overlaps—similar to a Primavera P6 resource view but managed entirely in Excel. Core Requirements: Automated Weekly Timeline Auto-generate rolling weekly headers (e.g., Nov 3, Nov 10, etc.) based on project start date. Automatically highlight the current week. Easy to adjust or extend the timeline without breaking formulas. Manpower Input Tab Separate tab for daily or weekly manpower inputs by project. Fields: Project Name, Date, Crew Count, Trade, Labor Hours. Data automatically rolls up into weekly totals. Forecast & Reporting Sheet Display manpower totals per project and per trade. Generate cumulative labor-hour S-curves and weekly manpower histograms. Calculate total labor demand across all active projects. Dynamic View Toggle (Single Project ⇄ All Projects) Include an interactive filter, dropdown, or slicer that lets users switch between: • A single-project manpower forecast view. • A combined company-wide view for all projects. When filtered, all charts and totals update automatically. Integration-Ready for Procore Must accept imports from Procore Daily Logs (CSV or Excel format). OneDrive/SharePoint Compatibility File must operate seamlessly in a shared environment, allowing multiple users to view or update live data. Deliverables: Fully functional Excel workbook with working formulas, charts, and conditional formatting. Clean, simple layout usable by both field and office personnel. Short written instructions or brief Loom-style video explaining updates and maintenance. Ideal Candidate: Expert in Excel automation, dynamic dashboards, and Power Query. Experience building manpower/S-curve tools for construction. Understands trade scheduling (electrical or MEP preferred). Optional: Power BI skills for future dashboard expansion. Bonus Features (Optional): Color-coded heat map for manpower peaks. Progress tracking (% complete based on planned vs actual). Dashboard summary for total company manpower per week/month. Goal: To create one live Excel dashboard that tracks and forecasts manpower across all active projects, with the flexibility to drill down into individual projects or view overall company manpower at a glance.
