I am seeking an Excel automation specialist to implement action-feed automation and core logic across an existing WHS register system. ⚠️ Critical Instruction: The architecture, file structure, and column layouts are LOCKED in WHS_Action_Plan_MASTER.xlsx. This project focuses on automation and alignment only, not system redesign. Supporting registers may require limited updates to their Action Plan sheets to align with automation into the MASTER — but only where required and without changing the MASTER structure. Files in Scope: - WHS_Action_Plan_MASTER.xlsx (locked architecture) - Supporting registers: - Risk Assessment Action Plan - Incident Register - Training Register - Contractor Register (others only if agreed) Scope of Work: 1. Supporting Register Alignment - Review Action Plan sheets in supporting registers. - Update/align columns only where required so actions can auto-feed into the MASTER. - No new fields unless strictly necessary for automation. 2. Action Feed Automation - Ensure actions entered in supporting registers automatically populate the MASTER. - Avoid duplicate data entry while keeping the MASTER read-only for action creation. 3. Action ID Logic - Auto-generate Action IDs using a source-based format (e.g., RA-2026-001, INC-2026-004). 4. Status Logic - Implement status driven by Completion Date and Due Date with values: Open / In Progress / Closed / Overdue. 5. Stability - Prefer Power Query or structured formulas over macros (macros only if approved). - Ensure clear, simple logic that an admin user can maintain. Out of Scope: - Dashboards or charts. - KPI reporting. - Column or architecture redesign in MASTER. - ISO framework additions. Deliverables (Milestones): 1. Supporting Register Alignment: Action Plan sheets aligned for automation; MASTER structure unchanged. 2. Action Feed Automation: Verified auto-population into MASTER. 3. Action ID & Status Logic: IDs and status logic tested with sample data. 4. Review & Handover: Bug fixes and short written handover notes.
