I have a completed 2-storey floor plan in DWG format and now need fully resolved external elevations that read cleanly and, more importantly, meet Clause 55 requirements . In practical terms the drawings must respect an overall height under 9 m, keep any wall on a side or rear boundary to 3.6 m max before stepping back, and then show the correct 0.3 m additional setback for every extra metre of height. Upper-storey walls should be pulled in rather than running straight up the line. What I want to see on each sheet is clear articulation of the windows and doors, rooflines, and façade textures so I can discuss finishes with the planner. A photoreal render isn’t necessary; crisp, well-layered CAD linework with light hatching is enough as long as the intention is obvious.
