Architectural & Structural Design for 30’ Home Addition with Basement Extension Project Description: We’re looking for an experienced architect and designer to help plan and design a 30-foot rear addition to an existing single-family home located in Clearfield, Utah. The existing house measures approximately 34 ft deep x 24 ft wide and includes a 400 sq ft basement. The project will involve expanding both the main floor and the basement by 30 feet toward the back of the property. We’ll need full design support including: • Architectural layout and floor plan adjustments • Structural design for the new foundation and framing • Integration of the new basement addition with the existing foundation • Drawings suitable for city permit submission Project Scope: • Addition size: ~30 ft (length) × 24 ft (width) = ~720 sq ft added to both main level and basement (~1,440 sq ft total). • Foundation: poured concrete • Goal: expand living space to include additional bedrooms and/or a larger living area • Deliverables: construction-ready plans (PDF + CAD preferred) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Utah building codes or ability to collaborate with local engineers • Familiarity with residential additions and basement extensions • Strong communication and ability to provide 3D renderings (optional but preferred) Location: Clearfield, Utah, USA
