No subscriptions or recurring charges are required—just one-time payments at checkout. Here is what the finished plugin must do: • Register itself under WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, showing the usual enable/disable switch plus fields for API key, secret, endpoint URL, and a sandbox/live toggle. • Send order data to the external API, capture the response, and update the WooCommerce order status accordingly (paid, pending, failed, or refunded). • Display clear error or success messages to shoppers and store admins. • Follow WordPress and WooCommerce coding standards, use wp_remote_post / wp_remote_get for calls, include nonces on admin forms, and keep functionality theme-agnostic. • Ship with concise inline comments and a short README covering installation, configuration, and test credentials. Deliverables 1. Production-ready plugin ZIP. 2. Complete source in a Git repo. 3. README / setup guide and a quick walkthrough video or screenshots confirming a successful test payment. Only card payments are in scope right now, but structuring the code so other methods (PayPal, bank transfer, etc.) could be layered in later would be a plus.
