AI Features • Chatbot: Once a document is stored, users should be able to ask natural-language questions about its content—“What’s the due date on this invoice?”—and get concise answers. • Auto-classification agent: Every upload should be routed through a lightweight model that labels common types such as invoices, contracts, receipts and proposals, and stores that label in the database for fast filtering. Core expectations • Shared backend endpoints for both apps (Node.js or Python are fine; I’m flexible as long as the API is clean and documented). • Secure file storage with easy retrieval for the chatbot pipeline. • Indexing strategy that keeps response time low even as the library grows. • Clear hand-off: source code, build instructions, and a short readme explaining how to add new document classes or fine-tune the Q&A model.
