Project Overview We are a finance-focused firm building a research-driven investment platform. We are looking for an experienced CodeIgniter 4 developer to develop and enhance our website with secure, scalable, and performance-oriented architecture. The website will include investor dashboards, research content, subscription-based access, and content management features. Scope of Work Develop and maintain website using CodeIgniter 4 Implement clean MVC architecture and scalable backend logic Build modules such as: User authentication (OTP / email-based login) Subscription & access control (paid/free content) Research articles & content management Investor dashboard (reports, updates, notes) Database design & optimization (MySQL preferred) API integrations (payment gateway, email, SMS, etc.) Ensure security best practices (especially for finance-related data) Improve website performance & page load speed Fix bugs and support deployment Technical Requirements Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter 4 Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Experience with REST APIs Familiarity with payment gateway integrations Knowledge of security, validation, and role-based access Experience in finance, fintech, or subscription platforms is a plus Deliverables Fully functional, optimized CodeIgniter 4 website Clean, well-documented code Support during testing and post-deployment Ability to scale features in future phases Ideal Freelancer 3+ years of backend development experience Prior work in finance / fintech / data-driven platforms Ability to understand business logic, not just code Good communication and timely delivery
