I’m unable to edit any page on my Avada-based WordPress website. Whenever I attempt to open a page from Pages → All Pages, I get a “Content Error” message (see attached screenshot). Background Information The website was built a few years ago using the Avada theme (exact version unknown). I initially installed Avada, imported one of its demo templates, and customized the text and images. The website consists mainly of a few static pages describing my services. Over the years, I have regularly updated the Avada theme to the latest version without making any content or layout changes.(purely untouched) and I didnet check the page editing. The website has always functioned correctly. Current Problem When I try to edit any page, the Avada Builder (or backend editor) shows a “Content Error.” The frontend display of the website still works perfectly — all pages load fine for visitors. The issue only occurs when attempting to edit pages in the dashboard. Troubleshooting Steps Taken 1.Tried downgrading to multiple earlier versions of the Avada theme — no change. 2.Cleared cache and browser data. 3.Deactivated all plugins except those required by Avada. 4.Switched temporarily to a default WordPress theme — some pages opened normally (no content error). 5.Reinstalled the latest Avada version and Fusion Builder plugin — issue persists. Environment Details WordPress Version: 6.8.3 Avada Version: 7.13.1 PHP Version: [8.0 but tried all lower and higher version upto 8.4) Hosting Provider: [Hostinger] Important Note My website currently ranks on the first page and in the first position on Google for a specific keyword. I’m using the Rank Math SEO plugin with only that single keyword targeted. It’s extremely important to me that my SEO ranking is not affected while fixing this issue. Therefore, I want to ensure that any troubleshooting or repair steps do not disrupt my existing on-page SEO or site structure.
