AI-Powered Travel Booking Engine

Customer: AI | Published: 22.10.2025

I’m creating a single engine that lets travelers search and book flights, hotels, cruise and car rentals for US passengers in one seamless flow. The heart of the project is an AI layer that can learn user preferences on-the-fly, surface personalized recommendations, monitor real-time availability, and automatically present the best price options side-by-side. Here’s what I need built: • Functional prototype of the booking engine, able to capture a user’s query and return live results for flights, hotels, and cars. • AI recommendation module that ranks results based on past behavior, trip context, and price sensitivity. • Price-comparison logic that updates as availability changes, clearly flagging savings or fare increases. • Clean, responsive interface that can be embedded in both travel websites and mobile-app environments (web first is fine, with mobile-ready API endpoints). • Admin dashboard or config file where providers, markup rules, and AI weighting factors can be adjusted without redeploying code. I’m open to the stack, but something mainstream—Python with FastAPI, Node.js, or a similar framework—will keep future maintenance simple. Please plan for standard third-party travel APIs (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or public aggregators) so we can swap data sources later if needed. Deliver the codebase, brief setup instructions, and a short video or screenshare walkthrough that proves end-to-end booking flow works in a sandbox environment. Clear, commented code is a must so I can extend it after this phase. If you’ve built recommendation engines, travel search platforms, or dynamic pricing tools before, I’d love to see examples. Let’s get this prototype live and ready for real travelers.
