Advance Steel 3D Model & BOM

I have a full set of 2D structural DWG plans that now need to be rebuilt in Autodesk Advance Steel as a clean, native 3D model. Only the primary steelwork—columns, beams, and braces—should be modeled; no legacy AutoCAD solids or proxy objects please, as I’ll be using this file for downstream detailing and quantity checks. My main goal is accuracy: every member’s size, position, and orientation must mirror the original drawings so the material take-off reflects the true tonnage. Once complete, I’ll need two things: • The editable Advance Steel DWG containing all native objects • An exported material list that I can open right away (PDF and/or Excel—whichever you prefer as long as the data is clear) If you’re comfortable working directly in Advance Steel, adhering to typical steel-shop conventions, and delivering a model that passes a geometry-to-plan overlay without clashes, I’d like to hear how quickly you can turn this around and a brief outline of your workflow.
