I’m ready to move a new dog-toy concept—with the look of a pickleball and a golf ball—into production, and I need a solid STEP (.stp) file that a mould maker can use straight away. The toy will ultimately be moulded in rubber, so wall thicknesses, draft angles, and any parting-line considerations have to respect that material. For the overall aesthetic I’ve written “STP file” in the brief; in practice that simply means I’m not locked into a photorealistic or cartoonish finish so long as the model ships as a clean, watertight STEP file. Please make sure the surface texture echoes each sport ball in a way that’s both interesting for dogs to mouth and practical for a single-shot mould. Undercuts should be avoided unless they can be pulled with a simple slide. If you can, run a quick self-check for manufacturability inside SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar before hand-off—nothing formal, just confirmation that the file is good to go.
