Freelance Brief – Minor Updates to WordPress Web App / FreeSchoolClothes.com I am looking for a developer to complete a small number of minor updates to an existing WordPress web application. The site is already live and functioning well. These are small enhancements to improve usability. I am looking for a fixed price quote and would ideally like the work completed within the next couple of days. ⸻ Platform Information The site is built on WordPress and uses a listings system with user dashboards and messaging. The updates relate to: • User dashboard listings • Listing status buttons • Email notifications for messaging ⸻ Change 1 – Dashboard / My Listings Improvements On the My Listings page within the user dashboard, I would like to separate listings by status into tabs. Currently listings appear in one list. I need three tabs: 1. Active listings (existing behaviour) 2. Negotiating / Reserved 3. Sold When a listing is marked as negotiating or sold it should move automatically into the relevant tab. Existing other tabs to remain. On the same page I would also like an additional column to show the Listing ID for each item. ⸻ Change 2 – Listing Status Buttons On the single listing page, visible only to the author of the listing, I need two buttons added: • Mark as Negotiating / Reserved • Mark as Sold When the user clicks one of these buttons, the listing status should update and move to the appropriate tab in the dashboard (as described above). These buttons should only be visible to the listing owner. ⸻ Change 3 – Messaging Email Notifications The site has a direct chat / messaging feature between users. Currently: • An email is sent when the first message is sent by a buyer • An email is sent when the first reply is sent by the listing owner However no email notifications are sent for later messages in the conversation. I need: • An email notification to be sent each time a new message is received, so the recipient is alerted to check their messages.
