Our recruitment site is already live on a Bedrock-based WordPress 6.1 installation, hosted at Oderland on PHP 8.1 / MariaDB 11.4 behind LiteSpeed. Every page is rendered through a custom theme that hands its dynamic parts to Vue.js, so you’ll be working in a mixed WordPress-Vue environment from day one. What I need now is a seasoned developer who can assume full technical ownership: handle routine maintenance, keep dependencies updated, and be my go-to partner when something breaks—or when we want to push the site forward. The roadmap covers three main areas: squeezing out more performance, polishing UI/UX, and rolling out new features as our hiring process evolves. You’ll find familiar tools in place: Polylang Pro for our Swedish/English setup, WPBakery, Gravity Forms, Yoast SEO, and LiteSpeed Cache. There’s no parent/child theme structure to worry about; the theme is entirely bespoke, so clean Git-based workflows and comfort with API integrations will be important.
