Woo/LearnPress Email Template Customization

My WordPress site runs on the Avada child theme with LearnPress and WooCommerce, and I need two transactional emails re-worked specifically for first-time users: • Welcome email triggered on account creation - right now, something is preventing it from going out. We want to customize the email AND have only one link to CREATE PASSWORD with the username parameter passed through, rather than taking them to the login page where it is confusing with default - only "forgot password" is option to set a password, meaning more steps. Dopey. Too many steps. We also want to move the custom message to the top, rather than at the bottom that is the default of Woo. We use WPSMTP - mail is with Google. • WooCommerce order confirmation email . Simpler. Need to move the custom message to the top and align left. We also have a custom PROFILE that uses some of the basic fields, but we have a bunch of custom ones for this. What I’m after – Replace the default copy in the welcome to your new account with my own text, keeping the existing HTML layout responsive. Need to be able to edit from time to time. – Insert an extra section that gives new users clear steps for accessing their first course plus a support link. – For the new-account message, skip the generic “Forgot password?” path: the CTA must land directly on the password-creation page so users set their credentials immediately. – No changes to logos or colors, just content and logic. Technical expectations Use Avada/LearnPress/WooCommerce hooks or a small custom plugin so the edits survive theme and plugin updates. Clean, commented code only—PHP overrides or template files inside a child theme are fine as long as they engage. Right now, they are not. Deliverables 1. Updated email templates or plugin files 2. A brief read-me showing exactly where to edit text in future 3. Confirmation that both emails fire correctly for first-time users after testing on staging 4. Confirmation that if Woo, LP or Avada update, they won't override what we are creating. If you’ve customized the WooCommerce or LearnPress email process before and are comfortable with Avada’s structure, I’d love to hear how quickly you can turn this around.
