I need a simple, browser-based or app based, waiting list tool that lets customers see in real time where they sit in the queue to collect their orders. The flow is straightforward: staff add a customer to the list, enter their waiting number, the screen updates instantly on every open tab, and the customer can follow their position on a phone, tablet, or lobby monitor without refreshing. Key requirements • Web platform / mobile build • Real-time updates visible to every connected user (WebSockets, Firebase, or similar push technology is fine). Core screens 1. Staff dashboard to add, remove, and notify when an order is ready for pickup. 2. Public view showing the live queue and a clear “You’re up next” indicator. 3. We need to give the customer a number, example, 33, 54, and then show on the app or qr scanned code when its ready. 4. qr scan is wanted Colour theme, Purple / white , our logo is also attached. Please structure the code so future add-ons such as alerts or self-service check-in kiosks can be bolted on with minimum refactor. A concise README with setup instructions is expected. When you reply, link me to relevant past work that shows you’ve handled live data or queue management on the web. That portfolio sample is the main thing I’ll use to shortlist candidates. ----------------------- detailed breakdown; ① QR Code System Purpose: • Allows customers waiting for purchase appraisal to conveniently check by themselves whether the appraisal has been completed. • Reduces the need for phone calls and staf responses when the appraisal is fnished. How It Works: 1. At the time of purchase reception, hand the customer a numbered ticket with a QR code, as shown in the image on the left. 2. At the same time, inform the customer of an approximate required waiting time. 3. Explain that when the QR code is scanned, an image like the one shown on the right will be displayed. 4. A system that allows customers to check the status at any time by themselves Special Notes: - Cost reduction is taken into consideration by pursuing a simple and minimal design. * For example: no push notifcations, and a unifed display screen when the QR code is scanned. - If push notifcations were to be implemented, the required approach would likely vary depending on whether a dedicated app is developed and whether a domestic phone number can be used. - English support is required in addition to Japanese. Chinese language support may also be useful. ----- basically, we need some sort of waiting list, qr code app, or browser which loads, which doesnt require log in or mobile.
