Hi everyone, I am looking for a freelancer who can help me improve my Magento 1 webshop. Regarding the following tasks: 1. Create SKU Status Export Script → Export to CSV File Description: From time to time, I notice that certain products are not active in one or more of the 4 store views, even though they are set to “Enabled” in the Default store view. This seems to be due to a misconfiguration from the past, where the store views no longer inherit the default status (i.e., the "Use default value" checkbox is unchecked). Requirement: Please develop a script that exports a CSV file with the following structure: Column A: Product SKU Columns B–F: Status per store view (Enabled/Disabled), including: Default Store View Store View 1 Store View 2 Store View 3 Store View 4 Important: The export should include only products where the status in the Default store view is different from one or more of the store views (e.g., Default = Enabled, but Store View 2 = Disabled). The goal is to help identify inconsistencies and decide whether these products need to be reactivated across store views. Goal: Get a clear overview of status mismatches per SKU so I can review and take action in the next step (Task 2). 2. SKU Status Update – Reset to Use Default Status Description: I would like a script (or a MySQL query, if preferred) that allows me to upload a CSV file containing a list of SKUs. For each SKU in the list, the script should: Reset the status field (enabled/disabled) in all store views So that the product inherits the status from the Default store view again (i.e., re-check the “Use default value” setting) Requirements: The script should process a list of SKUs from a CSV file For each SKU, the “Use default” flag for the status field should be restored across all store views It should work for both enabled and disabled products, depending on the Default store setting Include basic error checking/logging to flag SKUs that were not found or couldn’t be updated Goal: Ensure that all listed SKUs once again follow the Default store view’s status, correcting mismatches identified in Task 1. 3. Search Engine Issue with Attributes/Values After Recent Update Description: Since a recent update — where we grouped several older attributes into new, unified ones — there appears to be a problem with the search functionality (top search bar) when trying to search for specific attribute values. Issue: When searching for an attribute value via the search bar, no results appear, even though those values are assigned to products. However, when using the filter sidebar, the same attribute values do appear correctly, and the associated products are displayed as expected. This suggests the issue is specific to the search engine, and not the attribute setup or product assignment itself. Affected Areas: Especially noticeable in the "Subjects" and "Countries" attributes and their values. Example SKU for testing: B1784 Attachment Provided: Search issue for attribute (values).mp4 Goal: Fix the search functionality so that attribute values (even if migrated or regrouped) are fully searchable via the top search bar — just like they appear in the filters. 4. Product Detail Page Issue with Attributes and Attribute Values Description: This issue relates to the older attribute values we recently worked on. Currently, when someone adds attribute data in the Oculus back-end software, the new (consolidated) attribute fields in Magento are not automatically populated with that data. Although the values may still appear in the Magento admin panel under the old attribute structure, they are not linked to the new attributes, and therefore do not appear on the product detail page in the front-end. Symptoms: The issue mainly affects new products. Older products still display the new attribute values correctly. Newer products are missing important new attribute fields and values, which breaks consistency on the product detail page. Goal: Fix the mapping or automation issue so that when product data is entered (via Oculus or another system), it is correctly linked to the new attribute structure in Magento, ensuring all required attribute values show up properly on the product detail page.
